Apparently the green jersey will now be the traditional colors for the home away from home games.

I have no problem with that but the green should also be worn on the last home game of each season. That way even the players that don’t make the away trip, walk on’s, seniors etc get to wear the green on their last game in ND stadium–good for the fans also.

Time to put players names on jerseys. Dan Devine did it and the golden dome didn’t topple.

Time to re visit the dorm situation. I would have no problem with an upscale condo deal–just like every other big time program–if worried about losing touch with regular students–put another student in–so 3 per unit.

Or completely gut and rebuild all the dorms–cheaper to just have new buildings.

ND VS MARYLAND WEEK

Reports coming out that ND will wear green jerseys and add the shamrock to helmets for the Maryland game.

Appears that this will be a new tradition for the home away from home games.

The ND defense, both coaches and players redeemed themselves shutting down the option beautifully. It was a stifling performance.

Finally, good line play on both sides of the ball. Tommy Rees may look like a pharmacy clerk but he certainly stepped up on a really big stage and played big.

Onward to LA with a lot more confidence.

A few thing I would like to see at ND stadium in 2011:

Jumbotron –think not just replays but all of the historical clips we could run.
ND Logo on the 50 yard line.
Make the decision to go green jerseys for all games in the Kelly era–I’d prefer just a slightly darker green. Seems to me we should emulate the old time really great teams.
